What is your first memory or story you can still picture clearly from an adventure in the mountains?
"Definitely my first time at 4000m with my dad when I was 10 years old. Impossible to forget!"
Imagine you can pick one snack that you can have an unlimited supply of on any mountain with 0 extra weight. What snack would you pick?
"Easy! Protein bars, no question!"
What is the most unexpected moment (whether a crisis or a pleasant surprise) you’ve had in the mountains?
"I once tried to sleep on a mountain summit, but the wind and rain were stronger than expected and they snapped my tent poles. I had no choice but to descend all the way overnight. It was that or freeze!"
Have you ever lost something, gotten lost, or lost yourself in the mountains? If so, what happened, did you find your way back and what fun things did you learn along the way?
"I did get lost once on a very foggy day, back before we had GPS. I wandered for six hours, luckily not alone. In the end, we just climbed all the way back up and tried a different route down. After a few failed attempts, we finally made it! Funny thing, for all the way up we had a lot of sun, I learned how fast conditions can change."
What mountain animal/organism (from a chamois to a mushroom, an owl, a butterfly) do you identify most with and why?
"Bear, for sure; just so I could sleep all winter long!"
